Start with curiosity about the individual
You do not need to invent a role you must play to make an impression. Choose a profile detail, explain why it resonated with you and ask a question. Avoid judging someone's body, giving unsolicited advice or checking whether an answer is ‘correct’. If your views differ, you can calmly ask for clarification and then decide whether you want to continue getting acquainted.
- Read the description as well as looking at the photographs.
- Formulate a question without judgement or testing.
- Share your own answer so the conversation goes both ways.
A place to start
Choose a relevant example and adapt it to your situation. Do not assume someone has interests they have not mentioned.
You wrote that you enjoy small exhibitions. What interests you more: the work itself or the story of how it was made?
I also appreciate unhurried weekends. Is there an activity that helps you switch off after a busy week?

Prepare your own version

What else is useful to know
Do I need a special universal opening line?
There is no universal line. A brief message about a specific profile detail and a sincere question whose answer actually interests you is a better starting point.
What is available in GuessWish?
GuessWish offers ways to meet people through visual choices, have conversations and chat with AI. These are separate formats. Check the interface for available features, terms and the prices of individual actions.
Can you guarantee a connection or a reply?
No. Interest, replies and willingness to meet depend on the other person. The examples on this page help you start a conversation but do not promise an outcome.
