Conversation on the move
Ask what the other person notices first in a new place: architecture, greenery, sounds or people. Share an observation of your own. Pay attention to comfort: they may find it easier to talk while standing still or sitting down. Do not comment on strangers’ appearances or turn the walk into an uninterrupted account of your own life. The route is a setting for getting to know each other, not a compulsory programme.
- Start with a neutral detail along the route.
- Alternate questions with stories of your own.
- Suggest a stop if the pace makes conversation difficult.
A place to start
Choose a relevant example and adapt it to your situation. Do not assume someone has interests they have not mentioned.
When you walk through an unfamiliar neighbourhood, what do you notice first: beautiful buildings, green courtyards or places to get coffee?
Is there a route you associate with a good memory? You can leave out the details if the story is personal.

What else is useful to know
Do I need to prepare lots of topics beforehand?
Two or three directions are enough. Paying attention to the person and the situation matters more than completing a prepared list.
What is available in GuessWish?
GuessWish offers ways to meet people through visual choices, have conversations and chat with AI. These are separate formats. Check the interface for available features, terms and the prices of individual actions.
Can you guarantee a connection or a reply?
No. Interest, replies and willingness to meet depend on the other person. The examples on this page help you start a conversation but do not promise an outcome.
