Three levels of questions
Start with something light: a pleasant weekend, a recent discovery or a favourite activity. Then you can discuss preferences — planning or improvising, active outings or quiet relaxation. Personal values are easier to explore once some trust has developed. If the other person does not want to answer, change the subject. A good question invites a story and does not have a predetermined right answer.
- Choose a question that fits the current topic.
- Share a brief answer of your own.
- Follow up on one interesting part of their story.
A place to start
Choose a relevant example and adapt it to your situation. Do not assume someone has interests they have not mentioned.
What activity did you try without expecting much, only to find yourself unexpectedly absorbed in it?
If you suddenly had three free hours at the weekend, what would you enjoy spending them on?

What else is useful to know
Which questions are better avoided at the beginning?
Questions that ask for painful details, income, documents or intimate information. Do not ask about anything the other person has already said they do not want to discuss.
What is available in GuessWish?
GuessWish offers ways to meet people through visual choices, have conversations and chat with AI. These are separate formats. Check the interface for available features, terms and the prices of individual actions.
Can you guarantee a connection or a reply?
No. Interest, replies and willingness to meet depend on the other person. The examples on this page help you start a conversation but do not promise an outcome.
